- Azarov's Resting PlaceAzarov's Resting Place is the office of Autohaven Wreckers, with a heavy duty safe set into the floor where money changed owners. It is named after the man who ended up in the crusher.
- Badham PreschoolBadham Preschool sits in the Springwood realm, and its boiler room is the one that runs through most of the A Nightmare on Elm Street films. An altar downstairs holds a child's drawing of a kid standing next to a crying adult.
- Blood LodgeBlood Lodge is the log cabin at the edge of Autohaven Wreckers, its walls covered in carvings and its basement used to hold people before they went to the crusher. Its owner disappeared and nobody ever established how.
- Coal TowerCoal Tower stored the coal that fed the foundry on the MacMillan Estate. Its roof is split wide open, which suggests an explosion nobody on the estate ever wrote down.
- Dead Dawg SaloonDead Dawg Saloon is the frontier outpost of the Grave of Glenvale, modelled on Monument Valley. The Hellshire Gang rode into Glenvale after the Mason Kelly Gang took five of their own, and the town was never cleaned up afterwards.
- Dead SandsDead Sands is the open desert of the Forsaken Boneyard, built around a killer shack and watched by stone sentinels. It is the ground where Carmina Mora's friends were murdered and where she lost her hands and her tongue.
- Disturbed WardDisturbed Ward is the last building left standing after the fire at Crotus Prenn Asylum, a two-storey shock therapy centre over a basement. A bone saw upstairs matches the one the Nurse carried.
- Eyrie of CrowsEyrie of Crows is the crypt tower of the Forsaken Boneyard, a Chilean desert graveyard the Entity rebuilt as a celebration of what happened there. The crows fed on Carmina Mora's friends on this ground.
- Fallen RefugeFallen Refuge folds a prison tower and a hospital into one building on the Withered Isle, Don't Open, Dead Inside doors included. It was the first map built for a half chapter.
- Family ResidenceFamily Residence is the Yamaoka Estate house in Kagawa, patched up with cheap mouldy materials by a father working himself past exhaustion over university fees and hospital bills. The repairs failed, and something older woke up.
- Father Campbell's ChapelFather Campbell's Chapel stood inside Crotus Prenn Asylum as the one place patients could go for absolution. Father Campbell died in his own confessional the day the Nurse's mind snapped.
- Forgotten RuinsForgotten Ruins runs under The Decimated Borgo, an underground maze built around the Rotted Tower and packed with Dungeons & Dragons references. The lore credits the memories of alchemists, warriors, storytellers and criminals for what the place became.
- Fractured CowshedFractured Cowshed is the barn the Thompsons built on Coldwind Farm for sick livestock, abandoned once toxic mould got into it. The bricked-off room where the Hillbilly's parents kept him is part of the same building.
- Freddy Fazbear's PizzaFreddy Fazbear's Pizza brings the animatronics, the arcade and the stage into the Withered Isle. Finishing the generator at the stage wakes the band up, and the endoskeleton in Parts and Service is the one from the Animatronic's mori.
- Garden of JoyGarden of Joy is the mansion of the Withered Isle, the private Atlantic island where a commune of optimists set out to build something better. The house is what the Entity made of that attempt.
- Gas HeavenGas Heaven was a rest stop for travellers before it ended up in Autohaven Wreckers, driveway bell and all. It is tied to Azarov's mob connections and to the people who pulled in here and never pulled out.
- Greenville SquareGreenville Square is a slice of abandoned small-town America inside the Withered Isle, with a rundown cinema and a pilgrim statue. It is the hometown of Mikaela Reid and Sable Ward, and the Moonstone café where both of them worked is still standing.
- Grim PantryGrim Pantry is the two-storey building in the Backwater Swamp where captives were held in the water underneath and taken up one at a time for the family's needs. Finishing a generator opens the floodgates.
- Groaning StorehouseGroaning Storehouse is what is left of the MacMillan warehouse, on the eastern edge of the MacMillan Estate, and the lore has it crying out with the anguish of the incinerated labourers. It first arrived as a surprise reward during the game's first anniversary.
- Ironworks of MiseryIronworks of Misery is the MacMillan Estate foundry, where ore was smelted into ingots and bodies went into the vats. A calendar in the office is stopped on January 1972, the year of the Hillbilly's massacre at Coldwind Farm.
- Lampkin LaneLampkin Lane is the suburban street of Haddonfield, jungle gym included, held in the dark by the Entity. The house with the jack-o'-lantern on the porch is Michael Myers's.
- Midwich Elementary SchoolMidwich Elementary School is the Silent Hill school Harry Mason searched for his missing daughter Cheryl, and where Alessa Gillespie studied as a child. The Entity kept the version with the twisted classrooms.
- Mother's DwellingMother's Dwelling is the hunting cabin of the Red Forest, a home for some and a cell for others. The family portrait upstairs is most likely Anna with her mother and her father.
- Mount Ormond ResortMount Ormond Resort is a long-abandoned ski resort in Ormond, now a deforested stretch where gangs and teenagers go looking for trouble. The Legion used the cottage as a hangout, and Jeff Johansen painted their mural on its wall for Frank's birthday.
- Nostromo WreckageNostromo Wreckage is what is left of the USCSS Nostromo and its shuttle the Narcissus, dropped into Dvarka Deepwood. The android Ash's body is aboard, and so is MU/TH/UR 6000.
- Ormond Lake MineOrmond Lake Mine is the deep scar cut through the rock under Ormond, a coal mine closed after a run of unexplained accidents. The Legion comics have cultists using the empty shafts for blood sacrifices.
- Raccoon City Police StationThe Raccoon City Police Station was an art museum before Raccoon City converted it into a precinct, which is why the building never quite works as one. The map is a faithful rebuild of the Resident Evil 2 remake layout, safe rooms included.
- Raccoon City Police Station East WingThe East Wing is one half of the Raccoon City police station, split off in patch 6.2.0 because the original map was too large for a standard trial. It keeps the Main Hall, the press room, the watchman's room and the fire escape.
- Raccoon City Police Station West WingThe West Wing is the other half of the Raccoon City police station, and the one that holds the S.T.A.R.S. office, the library, the art room and the operations room. It was split off from the original map in the same patch 6.2.0.
- Rancid AbattoirRancid Abattoir is the slaughterhouse of Coldwind Farm, still in operation for years after the farmland around it was broken up. The stench and the stains on the floor are the only record it kept.
- Rotten FieldsRotten Fields is the abandoned cornfield of Coldwind Farm, where the corn keeps coming up with nobody tending it. The stories told about the place run from mutilated animals to red stalks.
- Sanctum of WrathSanctum of Wrath is a Hachiman shrine left to the weather, which the Entity transplanted onto the Yamaoka Estate as a piece of work on Kazan, who once destroyed the statue on its roof in a rage. The Jizō Bosatsu statues around it face the player.
- Shelter WoodsShelter Woods is the MacMillan Estate forest, built around a hunting camp where luxury and brutality sit in the same room. The camp is the Skull Merchant's mobile base, and the ancient Twisted Tree that used to be the landmark was moved to make space for it.
- Suffocation PitSuffocation Pit is the closed mine of the MacMillan Estate, most likely the one where Evan MacMillan sealed in the workers. Its entrance is still a pile of rubble nobody was willing to clear.
- The GameThe Game is Gideon Meat Plant, a meat packing plant Jigsaw rebuilt into a machine. The incinerator is where Jeff Denlon had to burn his son's belongings to save Judge Halden, and the freezer room is where he had to hold his face against the pipes.
- The Pale RoseThe Pale Rose is the paddle steamer stranded in the Backwater Swamp, its upper deck marked with ritual signs in dried blood and dirt. Something has been living aboard, and a finished generator still sets off the foghorn.
- The Shattered SquareThe Shattered Square is Daro, a medieval Italian village the Guardia Compagnia razed, kept forever smouldering inside The Decimated Borgo. The Knight and his followers are the reason there is nothing left to rebuild.
- The Temple of PurgationThe Temple of Purgation is a three-storey stone temple in the Red Forest, taken straight out of the Plague's memories. A gold tablet inside carries Akkadian cuneiform reading Iddin-Sin, after the king of Simurrum.
- The Thompson HouseThe Thompson House is the farmhouse at the centre of Coldwind Farm, a place that used to host holidays. It has been falling apart ever since the events of 1972.
- The Underground ComplexThe Underground Complex is the lower level of Hawkins National Laboratory, a mental health institute before it became a mind control programme. Dozens of inter-dimensional creatures came through in November 1983, and a cracked wall and two dead wardens mark where Eleven got out.
- Toba LandingToba Landing is where the colony ship Huxley Caracas III came down in Dvarka Deepwood after years hurtling through deep space. The advanced civilisation that lived on the planet first was wiped out by something nobody has identified.
- Torment CreekTorment Creek is one of the oldest buildings still standing on Coldwind Farm, a grain store that came down in the great storm of 2003. Twelve bodies were found buried in the ruins afterwards.
- Treatment TheatreTreatment Theatre is the research building of Léry's Memorial Institute, and the first indoor map Dead by Daylight ever added. The Doctor's face shows up on the screens in the treatment room.
- Trickster's DelusionTrickster's Delusion is a neon-lit Korean block in the Sleepless District, nightclub and market included. It is built out of Ji-woon Hak's rage at the virtual idol MiNA, whose adverts near the club still set him off.
- Wreckers' YardWreckers' Yard is the scrapyard itself, walls of crushed metal and dead buses stacked across Autohaven Wreckers. The lore records a bloodbath here, in blood-covered metal and bits of flesh.
- Wretched ShopWretched Shop was a garage in Autohaven Wreckers before investigators worked out what else had been done inside it. The account of the place comes down to a single narrator, probably Benedict Baker.
