The Executioner

The Executioner is Silent Hill's judgement made physical, a duty rather than a person, and it went to rest once the town had no more use for it. Rites of Judgement carves trails into the ground and sends survivors to cages instead of hooks, and Forced Penance punishes anyone taking a hit for a friend.

The Artist

Carmina Mora took a phone call while her brother Matias drowned in a creek, and the crows stopped her at the bridge called DeathLeap. Birds of Torment sends those crows down a line across the map, and Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance takes the loudest generator with it.

The Lich

Vecna turned to necromancy after his mother was executed for witchcraft, and gave himself to a dark fog to finish deciphering a spell found where people had vanished. Vile Darkness hands him four spells at once, including Flight of the Damned and Mage Hand.

Aestri & Baermar

Aestri Yazar and Baermar Uraz are two bards out of Oerth who travelled to the Free City of Greyhawk to put the balance right, and were taken by the fog after Baermar read an incantation aloud in the Rotted Tower of Vecna. Bardic Inspiration rolls a die for the whole team, and Mirrored Illusion leaves a copy of them behind.

Meg Thomas

Meg Thomas gave up her place at college to look after her sick mother, and kept running to stay sane. She vanished on a long run deep in the woods, and she still moves like it, with Sprint Burst and Adrenaline.

Garden of Joy

Garden of Joy is the mansion of the Withered Isle, the private Atlantic island where a commune of optimists set out to build something better. The house is what the Entity made of that attempt.
