The Dredge

The Dredge came out of The Fold, a 1960s island commune whose leader Otto Stamper sacrificed a journalist on a wooden stage and set off the massacre that followed. Reign of Darkness lets it teleport between lockers and drop the whole map into night, and Darkness Revealed reads every locker at once.

The Skull Merchant

Adriana Imai grew up on Sonhadores Sombrios, her father Seita's unpublished manga about a woman hunting with skull drones, and then built the drones herself. She lured a fireworks executive into a disused Brazilian airship hangar and killed the witnesses too, and Eyes in the Sky still does her scanning.

The Pig

Amanda Young survived one of Jigsaw's traps and became his apprentice, then failed his last test herself and bled out on a tiled floor. Jigsaw's Baptism fits reverse bear traps to downed survivors, and Make Your Choice punishes whoever comes to unhook.

Yoichi Asakawa

Yoichi Asakawa lost his parents to an inexplicable curse as a child and became a marine biologist, until two of his students vanished researching at Izu Oshima. Empathic Connection shows the wounded where he is, and Boon: Dark Theory speeds up everyone inside it.

Meg Thomas

Meg Thomas gave up her place at college to look after her sick mother, and kept running to stay sane. She vanished on a long run deep in the woods, and she still moves like it, with Sprint Burst and Adrenaline.

Nostromo Wreckage

Nostromo Wreckage is what is left of the USCSS Nostromo and its shuttle the Narcissus, dropped into Dvarka Deepwood. The android Ash's body is aboard, and so is MU/TH/UR 6000.
