The Onryō
Sadako Yamamura killed a journalist with a surge of her own power during a public demonstration of her mother's gifts, then was struck and dropped into a well where she stayed for decades. Deluge of Fear moves her through the televisions, and Merciless Storm turns a generator into a run of skill checks.

The Animatronic
William Afton killed children at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza while wearing the Spring Bonnie suit, and died inside it when the springlocks snapped shut on him. Fazbear's Fright is what came back out of that costume.

The Plague
Adiris was abandoned at the Temple of Purgation in Babylon as a child and rose to serve it, cutting off her own toe as an offering when the sickness came anyway. Vile Purge infects survivors and the fountains they cleanse at, and Corrupt Intervention blocks the far generators at the start.

Nea Karlsson
Nea Karlsson grew up in Hjo, Sweden, tagged government buildings in the United States as Mashtyx, and disappeared after a dare to paint the old asylum. Urban Evasion lets her cross the map crouched at speed, and Balanced Landing turns a drop into distance.

Aestri & Baermar
Aestri Yazar and Baermar Uraz are two bards out of Oerth who travelled to the Free City of Greyhawk to put the balance right, and were taken by the fog after Baermar read an incantation aloud in the Rotted Tower of Vecna. Bardic Inspiration rolls a die for the whole team, and Mirrored Illusion leaves a copy of them behind.

Groaning Storehouse
Groaning Storehouse is what is left of the MacMillan warehouse, on the eastern edge of the MacMillan Estate, and the lore has it crying out with the anguish of the incinerated labourers. It first arrived as a surprise reward during the game's first anniversary.
